The workshop "Improving monitoring of progress in achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) for the Republic of Serbia" was held on November 18, 2024 at Hotel Mercure Belgrade Excelsior in Belgrade. The workshop was organized by the Statistical Office of the Republic of Serbia (SORS) in cooperation with the German International Cooperation Agency (GIZ) and the office of the UN Resident Coordinator (RC) in the Republic of Serbia.
At the workshop, the National Roadmap for statistics for the Sustainable Development Goals was presented, an overview of the status of SDG indicators for the Republic of Serbia was given, and the indicators whose source is the MICS (Multiple Indicator Cluster Survey) were presented. The exchange of views with data providers and suggestions obtained relating to data sources for missing SDG indicators.
The workshop was attended by about 40 participants: representatives of state institutions and civil society organizations, members of the SORS internal SDG working group, Katja Prososki, representative of GIZ, Ozren Runić, representative of the office of the UN Resident Coordinator (RC) in the Republic of Serbia and Ana Prodanović, representative of UNICEF.
